COVID-19 has truly changed the world with its far-reaching social and economic consequences. Many of those in the travel, events and hospitality industries are some of the hardest hit in the current crisis and unfortunately, women appear to be over-represented in these industries and occupations.

New Zealand seems to have had a renewed sense of national pride from a business perspective. There are clear opportunities emerging to take advantages of the changes brought about by Covid-19. The lockdowns have been an opportunity to re-think and re-invent, with new small businesses seemingly on the increase.

Women are bringing a lot to the table and empowering them will be essential to economic recovery and business success in the future. You’ll know a self-made woman when you see one. These women have a fire inside them, she radiates an undeniable energy of confidence and determination. She will be willing to take risks and be persistent. By understanding her niche, she will be passionate in what she does and will find practical ways to successfully go against the grain.

As we emerge from our second lockdown, high on everyone’s agenda is celebrations and coming together. Recently, we have collaborated with a group of businesses for some styled shoots and to showcase their amazing talents, products and services - check out the gallery below to see all the self-made women behind the scenes.

This blog truly resonates on so many levels! Seeing women rise up and reinvent themselves during such a challenging time is both humbling and motivating. The way these self-made women identified their niche and pushed forward despite uncertainty is a reminder that resilience is built in the tough moments, not the easy ones. It actually reminds me of my own journey balancing multiple responsibilities at once — there were times I leaned on an Assignment Helper to manage the academic side of things while focusing on building my goals, and that kind of support made all the difference. Just like these incredible businesswomen didn't do it entirely alone, knowing when to seek the right help is itself a sign of…

This post about being self-made is so inspiring, especially seeing the dedication it takes to build something from the ground up. I remember when I was first starting my own side project, I was so overwhelmed with my coursework that I actually had to look for some online class help just to keep my head above water. It’s definitely a challenge to balance those big dreams with everyday responsibilities, but so worth it in the end!

I liked how this post about being self-made talked about the small steps and real effort it takes to build something you’re proud of, because it reminded me of late nights studying instead of hoping for shortcuts. I once needed an online exam helper during a tough week, and getting clear help from someone who explained things simply made the test feel less stressful and more doable. Support can really change the experience.

I checked the Self Made post on Stellar Backdrops but the page didn’t load, though the site mostly shows different backdrop ideas and event setups you can use for photos and celebrations, like flower walls and custom decorations. Reading about creating and using backdrops reminded me of working late in my room on a task using CIPD Assignment Writers on my laptop at the same time I was trying to take nice photos of my own school project posters. Thinking about creative spaces and study tools together made me realize simple planning makes both school and fun projects much easier.
